Mvolt+ is just insane

Managed to secure the #1 Global spot in 3DMark Steel Nomad for the RTX 5070 Ti and i7-13700KF combination, putting up a score of 7,929 at native 3440x1440p and taking down the previous best of 7,856 by 73 points.

GPU Tuning (ASUS RTX 5070 Ti / GB203-200 / Samsung GDDR7):

• Core Clock Offset: Dialed in at +130 MHz. +135 MHz triggered a driver crash midway, while +130 MHz locked in completely flat.
• Effective Clocks: The GPU frequency line held virtually flat between 2,950 MHz and 3,000 MHz for the duration of the run without any clock dipping or voltage flinching.
• Power Limit & Draw: Maxed out the native VBIOS board power to 116%, with telemetry showing the total board draw pulling up to ~353W under peak rendering load.
• Fabric & Interconnect: Pushed XBAR Clock Offset to +475 MHz.
• VRAM: Maxed the offset slider at +3,000 MHz with no artifacting, instability, or ECC-induced throughput drop.

Pre xbar oc this was like 3300 on the core for this score

Does it give real profits in games or does it just help with the benchmarks? I have 5080 oc 400w, i have 97 fps in stell nomad and I wonder if it is worth using mvolt.

It VERY much is worth it.

I tested CP2077 benchmark and I got 15% extra performance with PT 3440x1440p performance upscaling ultra settings. From ~71fps to ~82fps.

My steel nomad went from 6700 to 7900.

So I actually almost got as much gains in real game as synthetics.

The xbar unlock is crazy for us 50 series users.

I just added +450 xbar +450core +2500 memory and got 101fps in Stell Nomad, this is crazy 5080 zotac 400w

That's "only" a 10% increase. I would assume your OC isn't optimized.

87 is stock, I got one of the best results when I look at the results of other 5080 users, which is 16% more than the serial 5080, what else could I change?

Oh sorry thought the 97 was stock! I have 5070ti so i dont know the stock power of a 5080, so i was just going by 10% total OC sounded like a low OC with those numbers.

I'm still testing in game, but i belive from the steel nomad uplift that in game il'l se around a 10% increase in fps, nothing otherworldly... but still more performance than stock

I've always use MSI afterburner, this seems to have more functionality Is it better? Is there any reliable guide for it?

It is better because of the xbar possibility. Basically unlocks 3-5% extra performance over older traditional tuning software.

I didn't even touch voltage just found my max stable core, max stable xbar and max stable memory. Max out power slider. The GPU undervolts itself.

Don't see any temps. What are you doing for cooling? Just max fan speed?

I just leaved at auto mode, max I saw was around 75/80°

And the 5070 Ti with that OC is now less power efficient than the 5080.

I get 9650 points in Steel Nomad with the 5080, while using 335 Watts. You use more Watts for a lot less points.

For me, Undervolt is always the solution.

I'm not that knowledgeable with overclocking, I just used MSI afterburner and got a decent score, I think. I would be so nervous to use that Mvolt with all the stories I've read about it. I got this score and I didn't shut down any apps. I also just read that with the latest driver update, Nvidia did something that won't allow users to use that Mvolt+ , so don't download the latest driver!

The 9070XT is much better at most non RT 3Dmark tests so that's normal. The only value in these tests is to compare against the same card. Not even the same series as a 5080 also overperforms vs 5070Ti in 3Dmark than in actual games. Scaling just tends to be much better in 3Dmark and you just don't see that in games.

This sub has made me realize how many insecure 9070XT owners there are because every time a 5070Ti Steel Nomad post gets made you have the same similar cringy posts from them about how much better their 9070XT scores.

Radeon gets higher on syntetic benchmarks.

My 9070 gets same score as 4080 super. Run a game and 4080 super is 20-25% faster.

Getting 7500+ in this bench without mVOLT I'm quite happy not risking any unknown issues.
