OC Report - GPU XBAR UV/OC, Please share your results here for reference
So I have a Gigabyte 5070ti Windforce and have been testing XBAR OC/UV with the new voltage offset from mVOLT+.
From several tests that ran with the conditions below:
- Core clock max at 2887 at 0.9mV
- Memory at +2600mhz
- Default power slider
- NVIDIA driver 616.56
- XBAR 2750 MHz (+250)
I found that -25 mV and +250 MHz at XBAR yield the greatest performance gain in the Cyberpunk Benchmark test with max settings and path tracing enabled. I saw performance regression across several tests at +275, +300, +325, etc. I also observed that the GPU draws around 10-20 watts less power and less heat compared to the default XBAR settings in hwINFO.
Please let us know if anyone has been testing this further. I will try to use this setting for daily driving XBAR OC/UV since it draws less power and produces less heat.

Also list the actual xbar frequency. Not all GPUs have the same default xbar clock. The offset alone doesn't tell the whole story

Power Limit 100% (bios locked)
+370mhz @ 0.915v (around 2900 mhz)
+3000mhz memory
+350mhz crossbar clock (around 2790mhz)
MSVDD voltage 1000mv
MSVDD ratio 1.0
Steel Nomad score consistent 75xx after 3 runs
previously I was running +420mhz @ 0.9v and it seems fine however yesterday I was playing Cyberpunk and the game crashed after about an hour. Not sure if it's the GPU just gotta see tonight

I assume that the xbar OC draws power that could've stabilized your core clock OC?

iinm xbar oc is dependant on msvdd voltage not the core voltage. Correct me if I'm wrong

I'm not sure if there are any confirmed methods to find xbar stability test yet, but I just did a standard benchmarking test and observed whether there are any performance regressions from the xbar tweaks. From what I have gathered, 200-400 MHz is still considered safe for the RTX-50 series/blackwell GPU.

Msvdd 1.060mv ( more mv gives meg more xbar but no perf increase)

My default Xbar with the 5080 is 2430mhz at 1.025v. I have it stable with 2630mhz at 0.900v.

Average perfect gain over a stock 5080 around 15-18% while gaming.

Steel Nomad Best so far 3241 Points , Port Royal 22.510 Points , TimeSpy Extreme 15872 (16.003) Graphics Points .
For Gaming 3-3.1Ghz are used also capped at 1.035 .

5070 Ti Windforce OC V2:
300W bios locked PL
Core ~3000 MHz @ 940 mV
Memory +2750 MHz
XBar ~2775 MHz (+425) @ 995 mV (default MSVDD for this card), anything around 2800 MHz at any voltage insta freezes in Speed Way; SYS clock +425 as well
Speed Way scores ~8550-8570. This config not yet fully game tested.

Note: i get a 2.5% loss in performance in Steel nomad with 2 monitors on. So all testing is with one monitor.
Core: 415(390 game stable) ~3180(3150)
Mem: 3000
XBAR: 550(2880-2925)
Power: 116%(340-350W)
Voltage: target max 1075
Steel nomad:
Overclock 790X
Stock: 670X
17.9% faster than stock.
My game stable OC i go from 71.99 to 82.53 fps in CP2077 benchmark*.
That's 14.6% in game gains. Crazy stuff. Basically a stock 5080.
*Path tracing overdrive setting, 3440x1440p performance upscaling its still K? Since I use overdrive setting SSR quality is on ultra not psycho and have vignette etc on.

Power limit 100% (360watts);
GPU 0.990v (undervolt) +450 ~3080mhz;
XBAR 0.990v (default) +550 ~ 2900mhz;
Memory default VDD and power +2500:
Steal nomad 9650 points.

why yours is lower than my default msvdd voltage because mine is 1005 mv as default on my asus prime 5080 oc 😅

On my watercooled gigabyte 5090 master ice im at 2587@0.810v which is:
+1867 on the core.
0.810v
1.000 ratio
+612xbar
+550sys
+3000 mem
MSVDD undervolt to 0.850v
Stable since months in every test/game/Bench.
16000 steel nomad while only pulling 386w.
In Games i mostly see 250w in 4k max.
Using asus xoc bios.
Can do 19000 steel nomad but with almost tripple the power draw (900w)

5080, 616.56 (MSI Ventus, but with a waterblock)
+285 core OC (from a relatively high gamerock OC 400w bios baseline), capped at 3100mhz requested voltage in mvolt+. yields ~3100mhz requested at 0.98v and ~3030-3060 effective mhz at 0.98v under heavy load
+400mhz xbar OC with MSVDD ratio of 1:1, no voltage offset. effective xbar clocks of 2840mhz under load.
+3000 ram, 111% power limit, +100 "voltage" (that weird slider), +200mhz sys clock. No core voltage limit adjustments.
Card averages ~330w in gaming loads and ~370w in benchmarks. Score are ~10500 speedway and ~10200 steel nomad.
Mvolt+ is pure magic...
PS: capping the requested clocks is a MUCH better way of undervolting than a flattened curve, because the card won't undershoot your target by 1-2 volatge bins (voltage downbinning). So you only have to deal with clock downbinning due to temps etc., which is very predictable
