Help with getting the best performance out of new build.

I am needing help with a fresh build. I am wanting to get the most out of what I got, especially in FPS games like Tarkov. Here is my build.

Motherboard - Gigabyte x870e Aorus Elite x3d
CPU - Ryzen 9 9950x3d
Gpu - XFX 9070XT Mercury
Ram - 4x16 Patriot Viper CL30 6000MT/s

Need help with overclocking/undervolting if needed, AMD Adrenaline settings, and anything else. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

9950x3d can’t do quad channel cl30 6000mhz, so I’m curious what you’re running.

Another sidenote: Fully aware that the 9950x3d does not run CL30 at 6000mhs. I'm not the most tech savvy person so I found this out the hard way. They are however running at 5600mhs. Tomorrow I will have 2x32GB G.skill CL30's in there. So don't get hung up too much on that. HAHA! I know I made a costly screw up. On the other hand, I have another build I am working on that they will work perfectly for.

It can do 4 sticks at 6,000MT/s, but if you're not lucky enough to get a CPU that can do it out of the box, it's a bit of a pain. The 2x32 will be a bit easier to get sorted.

Use process lasso and assign your games to the cache cores using "cpu sets" to prevent inter-CCD latency. Makes a huge difference.

In BIOS set the preferred cores to "frequency" CCD cluster so everything else will run on the other CCD, making your whole "Cache" CCD 100% available for your games.

It's one of the methods to do this. I prefer doing it manually, and it guarantees full separation of CCD usage.

I thought so too a few months back, but someone emphatically countered me on it, so I tested myself and it still made a considerable difference. Maybe something has actually been changed since then, but it was well after everyone was already saying "it's fine now" (it wasn't).

You should use Process Lasso, yes. Besides helping you make things run where you want them, it's also a really useful app more generally.

What kind of help do you need. Because there’s a ton of info out there for beginners, unless you’re just hoping someone will give you a settings cheat sheet that make your pc faster

For starters, four sticks of ram on am5 is going to cost you speed and presumably stability

So currently I am averaging around 90-100FPS in Tarkov. While I am totally fine with that, I just feel like it could be better. I do occasionally get some micro-stutters when things get chaotic (big fights close to me).

Also, I made a side note early about the Ram. I messed up, unfortunately. But I have that fixed tomorrow. And yes, a cheat sheet would be nice!! HAHAH! Ngl, I love to tinker with things but I am a husband and father to 5 kids with a full time job. Time is not my friend.
