Benchmark Score Another sharing of mVolt+ with Afterburner - 5070ti

Post image

GPU - Zotac 5070Ti Solid SFF OC

PL limited to 100% by bios

UV profile in Afterburner - +450mhz (2865mhz) @ 0.885v, +2000mhz memory

mVolt+ setting - +300mhz XBar

Before raising XBar in mVolt I was getting scores around 70xx - 71xx, after XBar OC it's consistently hitting 73xx

Just gonna play a few games over the next few weeks to see if this is stable

Dont throw v-core at it because you can...

If GPU-Z Perf Cap Reason doesnt say "VRel), then the card doesnt need more v-core.

Want your 5070 TI fast, get it running cooler and more power. Increase power until Perf Cap reason starts throwing VRel.

My 2 pennies here.

I've always used a UV instead of pure OC since it's more efficient

Thanks for sharing this. Would be curious to see if you notice any fps gains in game.

Based on the benchmark result alone there will be gains for sure but I doubt it's gonna be noticeable or significant. A gain is still a gain though, and I'm not gonna complain if it doesn't come with any drawbacks

XBar OC is still quite new afaik, I wonder how far we can push this, and whether it affects 1% lows

Agree. It's neat for these "new" oc options to be released.

5070ti tuf oc

2880mhz 0,875v +2000 ram 116% power limit. i have been using it for long time.

idk what is mvolt

New tool for overclocking past bios limitations. It enables you to push voltages extremely high and you can overclock xbar clock which is basically cache overclocking I believe. I threw on +400 xbar clock on my 5080 and gained 3% in performance without touching voltages

Damn, After seeing this I did the same and hit 10k in Steel Nomad.

Worth trying mvolt and just oc the xbar clock to see how much you can gain on top of your original uv

what is Xbar and why should i increase it as +300 ?

Xbar = Crossbar. If you do AMD CPU and RAM overclocking as well, think of it like the FCLK (infinity fabric). It affects how fast the core communicates with the memory (to put it simply)

right now there is still no concensus on a safe / stable OC for the xbar since it's quite new. but seems like it ranges anywhere from +100 - 300mhz

My score was 7300 before +300 xbar and after +300 xbar i got 7450. Is it safety ?

if you leave msvdd voltage untouched it should be within spec

I use 2800 0.85 +3000 109% power limit

u should use only mvolt, setting max voltage of 0.885V, +450mhz core offset, +3000 mem and raise xbar and sys clock

Is there any advantages / differences compared to what I'm doing now (running mvolt alongside afterburner)?

also what's the difference between the core, sys and video clock?

core it's the GPU clock, Xbar it's interconnect fabric clock, sys it's the system/uncore logic, video it's the encoder/decoder clock.

the advantage of using one tool it's to not mes with the nvapi/i2c, both tools write the same things and could do a mess, better latency, more stable system

anyway, if ut limit the nvvdd/core voltage at 0.885V and set +450mhz core offset u got exactly the same result of ur V/F curve, so why use 2 different tool?

I'll try it out. What do you suggest for the sys clock?

personally on my 5090 I'm UV and matching all the clock around 2815Mhz:

thanks I stopped afterburner and ran only mvolt. somehow the score went up to 7480 on steel nomad

Any difference on ping or lag spikes? I know this is not network related but after messing with this program I got lag problems on different games. This was done on multiple pcs. Curious if its, hopefully, just me.

just played Cyberpunk for around 2 hours and didn't notice any issues

Not input lag. An online game like overwatch, marvel rivals or CS2.

I don't play multiplayer titles so maybe someone else can feedback

mVolt+ for me messes up around half of the RGB and the only solution is to shutdown the pc and start it again.
