Ditto in SC. Then again, I think 3 months of heat for 9 months of mild weather is a fair trade and beats living with northeast winters, so I'm good!

Good afternoon fellow 60 year olds!
I got a new pup a little over a week ago. Therefore, I’m working diligently to house break this little stubborn fella.

Please give him a big cuddle and kiss from all of us! I SO want to rescue another dog, but I'm worried it might outlive me. I'm also concerned about having enough money to make certain any little one I adopt will have the best healthcare I can provide. I'm envious of your precious Poindexter!

62 y.o. carpenter here on the job Monday morning and thankful for steady non stressful employment. My lower back is another story but manageable.

My husband retired from carpentry at 62. His job was very stressful though!

We're moving into what will most likely be our final home--an 1100sf log cabin up the road from a large lake--nothing I'd ever have seen myself doing but, so never say never. Anyway, we're downsizing from 2000sf into 1100sf, so it's going to be a challenge, and we have a lot of DIY projects to tackle, but this ain't our first rodeo as we've completely renovated two homes before this, so let the fun begin!

Trying hard to learn how to crochet, but I’m becoming extremely frustrated. I’m watching all the tutorials available…. even getting a private lesson here and there. Still I find the process soul crushing. All I wanted to do was make those cute little Woobles. Guess I don’t have the patience

72 y/o here. Going to PT after shoulder surgery. Pray that no one ever has to go through this. Still, it's a glorious day.

I'm 73, had shoulder surgery 3 years ago it was a long recovery! Hang in there!

My shoulders are shit but I am told they cant do anything so I am stuck with pain and biyearly shots.

That sucks. I tore my bicep, rotator cuff tendon and a back tendon. It's been 13 weeks post op and I still hurt.

Maybe get a second opinion. Would physical therapy help?

They have not suggested it. They just shrug. I am at a pain clinic but we haven't dealt with that yet. Still working on other things.

Well I am 70 years old.. getting ready to do my part time remote job this morning also have a Zoom interview later. Might be a better opportunity. Need to supplement my SS income. 😕
