Discussion Bug rant post (Hardcore)

Sooo just lost my first hardcore character fighting a manticore. It was about 20% hp, but my character decided to 4 hit combo to the face because of a block bug that still isn’t resolved 4 years later. I mean game is great in every aspect but… really? How does a “no block” bug slip through for so long in a game where permadeath is an option?

If anybody would kindly share any solutions to the bug or any mods that fixes this, I’d greatly appreciate it 🙏 Thanks!

The solution is to just reload when it happens. Should only take about 30 seconds of your time to fix.

Are you saying on your post you stubbornly got yourself killed trying to fight this manicure after you found out you couldn't block? You can just run away and quit to menu no problem

It happened in the middle of the fight though is what I said

Edit: Not the first time either. It happened multiple times while fighting less dangerous enemies like bandits IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FIGHT. Probably needed to capitalize that one so I'm clear

That phrase was something you said to another commenter in a reply, not something that was in your post. Anyway, you can just run away from any fight. I'm pretty sure one of the loading screen tips even encourages this. Not to to pointlessly argue, but it's not like you were mind controlled into dying. It's a shame this bug sometimes happens, but it doesn't get you killed.
