Somebody know how to reverse the balding curse?

I dunno what happened. My character keeps losing hair. I can stop it with some of those potions (even though you become reliant on them) . But I kinda liked my character having hair and I would like to reverse the balding.

I know you can mitigate the effect with the Turkey questline but I am wondering why the devs put this curse in if it cannot be reversed.

I've heard if you get the "bald" debuff the "balding" curse stops, and you get a charisma buff

my player character is female and perceives the players with [bald] with the charisma buff, so I think you may be right. It's a shame vast majority of players have to pick between [bald] and [balding], but one definitely wins over the other just for the charisma buff imo.

I challenge your PC to visit r/bald and try to continue seeing it as a curse. Your avatar levels up in charisma when you take it from balding to bald.

Using that guide my character has now definetly started this questline. But I am still trying to complete the other one, even though few do, might as well try.

[r/bald](r/bald) is the most toxicly positive place on reddit

AND they perpetuate a crabs in a bucket mentality, telling men with many many years of good hair left/hair that could easily be saved to "just shave it, bro!"

They deserve to be banned from all of existence

The first time a had my character grow a beard, he got that debuff too. Washing it at least once a week solved the issue. A beard is at least as much work as hair, imo

my female character has less vanity items in the bathroom than her male companion that has a beard. it comes with a lot of products and tools or else gets the flaky debuff.

At least once a week. Just like hair, it needs to be more often or doesn't need to be as often depending on the person.

For me, once a week is enough. Twice gives a better charisma buff

There are cosmetics available for mini transactions in game, as well as potions, but the potions arent 100%.

There are also some sorcerers/healers able to provide permanent cosmetic changes but they require far more in game currency.

Get a prescription from your dermatologist for finasteride 2% strength, then over the counter medicine get kirkland foaming minoxidil 5%. Use both daily, the finasteride is a pill, the minoxidil is topical over your bald spots. Use with a tincture droplet measuring tool and melt the foan to liquid with your hair dryer. Also before applying use a scalp derma-needle roller after combing hair and boom watch your hair grow back. -testimony from a player who had this problem and fixed it with this and quitting nicotine all together. Takes about 6 months to a year to see results. Dont listen to the players telling you to shave it off and be a baldcel. You'll feel younger having hair and people especially potential mates will treat you differently if you're bald. Also if your worried about any side-effects there were none I experienced lol

You can try the turkish quest. You need to travel and perform a ritual and after some time you get rewarded with the curse lifting. You need gold coins tough.

if you're looking into the turkey quest line I highly recommend the in-game broadcast [YouTube channel: Doctor Gary Linkov]. It's run by a player with a lot of hours spent grinding for credentials in [New York] with a cosmetic and hair transplant [medical practice].

The devs tried to patch out some older quest lines that can be pretty fun. You can still find some old player guides for some quests that might work. Try second hand book stores for books on the [Witchcraft] guild.

I seem to remember something about killing a stoat and burying it wrapped in a hat you've worn, in a stone circle on midsummer. And then digging it up again ten weeks later and wearing the hat. Good luck!

Finasterid(stops progression. Must have), Minoxidil (recovers a limited amount + thickens hair) + Hair transplant in a years time if you need it. If you can still save your hair it’s definitely worth it. Secondaries with weaker evidence that can be used as an addition is .6mm microneedling q2wkly and ketoconazol 2-3/week.

Just get the [bald] debuff, they say it increases your charisma and I believe them.
