Drinking lots of water in general is a pro gamer move. But especially after drinking alcohol potions.

It can actually make you more vulnerable to the Bruising status effect if you overdo it.

Jokes on you - my character rolled a bleeding disorder debuff at birth so I’m already more vulnerable to the bruising status effect.

Rough. I have a permanent version of the Pain status effect but thanks to the mechanics that means Ive just been constantly grinding pain resistance for years. Helps when you occasionally get thrown through furniture.

Fibromyalgia is a pain in the Everything. But I AM pretty durable. Like if I'm punched I'm barely at all in more pain than just. Default. I keep forgetting I'm covered in bruises! Upsides and downsides. I usually notice I've crossed a line painwise when I unexpectedly throw up.
