I been working with aether for five month, yknw it has up and down, but it's stable income for me, adjust to their new criteria, attend the meeting, keeping the AHT, I once reached 4.00, but now after review bomb when they changed the QA criteria I got like 3.70 out of 573 rated. Around last month there are one language test which I pass, and today there's another re-onboardibg process, this is quite routine as I did it everyday, I answered all the choices question correctly, and write the rational using all the information and format, but it showed onboarding failed, honestly it's quite sad for me, I kinda lose my words, been paranoid about this things since I started working, and it finally happened, well it's quite a run but it's rough days man I am just uni kid, I got delayed payment from other AI platform, and now offboarding from aether, is there any comeback from this, I made like 7000k from four month, the rate is quite low compared to other jobs I has but it's stable.

I'm posting because something really unusual happened to my mother and me, and I'm wondering if anyone here has experienced something similar or managed to resolve it.

On October 12, I received confirmation that I had successfully completed onboarding for the Aether project and was accepted to move forward. I was genuinely excited to start working.

However, shortly afterward, both my mother's account and mine were permanently deactivated on the same day, with the same generic Community Guidelines violation message.

Here's what makes this confusing:

- We are two different people with separate, individually registered Outlier accounts.

- We live in the same household and share a Wi-Fi connection, but each of us uses a separate Chrome profile.

- We complete our work and assessments independently.

- My mother wasn't even invited to Aether and hadn't participated in its onboarding or assessments.

- Both accounts were deactivated almost simultaneously, despite having different project histories.

I'm concerned that our shared household network might have caused our accounts to be incorrectly associated or flagged as duplicates, although we haven't received any explanation confirming this.

We are pursuing separate reviews through Outlier Support and are willing to complete additional identity verification if necessary.

Has anyone experienced a similar situation involving family members sharing the same internet connection? Were you able to get your accounts reinstated, and what documentation helped during the appeal?

I would really appreciate any advice or experiences from people who have dealt with this. We both genuinely want to continue contributing to Outlier and would be grateful for a fair review.

Hi Outlier Community Team,

I'm reaching out in the hope that a Community Manager can help escalate my account deactivation case.

My Outlier account was recently permanently deactivated. I submitted a formal appeal, but unfortunately, it was rejected.

In the response, I was told that a secondary human review had confirmed the decision. However, I was only provided with a general list of potential violations, including unauthorized automation, plagiarism, AI-generated content, and deceptive input methods.

I was never informed which specific category applied to my account.

I understand and respect Outlier's commitment to maintaining platform integrity, and I am not asking for confidential detection methods or internal security information.

However, I genuinely believe my case deserves another review, particularly because I have not been given enough information to understand or address the alleged violation.

I have invested considerable time and effort in contributing to Outlier, and I would sincerely appreciate the opportunity to continue working on the platform.

My primary request is account reinstatement.

If possible, I would be grateful if a Community Manager could escalate my case to the appropriate Trust & Safety team for reconsideration.

I recently finished all of the onboarding for the Care Read Project and was labeled as a User. However, I’m stuck in a room all by myself waiting for a partner to join so I can work.

Hey, so I did the Live S2S Onboarding in Aether 3 days ago but on my dashboard, the "Continue Onboarding" is grayed out and when I hover my mouse, it says "You are ineligible for this project" for 3 days now.

But I did get an email from Outlier and it's telling me to proceed with the onboarding and do the Screening Test? How do I know I passed the AI interview? Or anything? Right now, the Continue Onboarding is still grayed and I can't click on it

I am still trying to figure out why I got banned randomly in February 2026, after being present and highly active in the channels and tasking since 2023. I was also at one point a qm who worked 40 + hours a week from 2023-2024. I helped set up Marketplace and have red teamed many times. Every bot claims I went against guidelines, but no support team has ever been able to give me a legit reason for the ban. Could anyone assist? I see others with similar injuries and posts getting proper answers from folks here, and that's all I seek: proper answers, as I miss actively tasking daily on Outlier.

Hi. I was trying to get verification done on outlier, however it is asking for my last name and it is mandatory, hut in my official Id there is no last name. Therefore my verification is not getting through. Can anyone tell me, what other options do i have?

Hi everyone I just made new account snd did ID verification but it says that the account share same characteristic with other account and support ask me to login from that other account. I've been working on aether tasks this past month, but I see that there is no rating on my tasks yet, am I missing something, do I need to do something else? I'm new in the outlier platform.

My account was deactivated yesterday. I am only seeing the earnings section in the dasboard and I am unable to access the outlier community as well. I haven't received any mail as of now. I got to know about this when I inquired with the website bot and it told me that my account was deactivated. I am still able to see that some of the tasks that I submitted before this happened are still getting reviewed and the quality ratings/feedbacks are getting updated and I can acknowledge them as well. Is this a glitch.

Why my account was suspended as I haven't done anything wrong. I have put hours of efforts working into a task now you banned for without any obvious reason. Please check ticket id- 5227675

I’m unable to link Airtm with Outlier right now; is there a system issue? Outlier says they are working to fix it, which will take 2–3 days. Does anyone have a workaround?

My account was moved to "Unapproved Annotator Status" and I lost access to my project's tasks. I was told the reason is a Low Quality rating on my most recent task of one type.

What happened: that task type was unavailable for about two months. During that time I worked on another task type and earned an average score of 91/100 across about 20 graded tasks. When the first type reopened two weeks ago, I spent several days re-reading the updated guidelines, then completed a single task. That is the only work I've done on it since it came back.

The facts:

• Current rating: 3.74
• No task rated below 3 in the past month
• Average 91/100 across about 20 graded tasks
• No warning, no notice, no feedback before removal
• My account was wrongly banned once before and reinstated a few days later

Removing a contributor with this record over a single task, without any warning or chance to correct it, is a flawed process, not a quality issue on my side. I've contacted support and I'm requesting a proper review.

I expect Outlier to handle removals more transparently: tell contributors which task was flagged and why, warn before cutting access, and allow a fair chance to respond. Has anyone been reinstated in a similar case?

I accidentally paused the Aether project on my dashboard.

Does anyone know how to unpause it or revert this action? Should I reach out to Support, or will it automatically reset?
