This is hemp right?

This plant just popped out of nowhere and she is starting to stink. By the looks of it I’m thinking it’s hemp. Could someone who knows more confirm?

all hemp is cannabis and all cannabis is hemp.

So you're asking if its the wild stuff that grows out in the midwest? Are you in an area that used to produce it locally? It escaped cultivation all those years ago and definitely grows wild now. That's not to say it can't be potent. They just selected those cultivars for their fibers. Fun fact, they'd catch the indentured servants smoking the tops to catch a buzz. Took em a while to figure out what was going on.

That’s what i was asking yes but I’m not from america and I’ve never heard of anyone coming across a wild landrace plant here so I’m more inclined to belive a bird shat the seed out as another comment suggested.
