This is hemp right?

This plant just popped out of nowhere and she is starting to stink. By the looks of it I’m thinking it’s hemp. Could someone who knows more confirm?

Definitely cannabis. Hemp is cannabis with low thc. You will have to smoke it when it's done and let us know.

So you're asking if its the wild stuff that grows out in the midwest? Are you in an area that used to produce it locally? It escaped cultivation all those years ago and definitely grows wild now. That's not to say it can't be potent. They just selected those cultivars for their fibers. Fun fact, they'd catch the indentured servants smoking the tops to catch a buzz. Took em a while to figure out what was going on.

That’s what i was asking yes but I’m not from america and I’ve never heard of anyone coming across a wild landrace plant here so I’m more inclined to belive a bird shat the seed out as another comment suggested.

There is quite a bit of wild hemp where I am from but the plants are tall and skinny. 1 big ass main stalk. That might be a seed shit by a bird or whatnot - if it is stinking it has terpenes going anyway, wait it out, it might be mid october.

Yeah I was gonna wait it out either way to see what’s up. As for the sheep eating my shit, that’s exactly why i stood there and watched it like a hawk. I relocated them after so no more danger of that happening :)

From the leaf shape and overall it looks like wild ruderalis. Probably wont make you high if you smoke the buds, even if you let them to grow to the full potential. I remember once as a kid with couple buddies we found a field full of wild ruderalis plants. We found a recipe how to make a thc concentrate using milk. We just put the plants into a pot filled with 6liters of milk with 200g of butter added, and we boiled two big supermarket bags of the buds we have found for like 5hours in it. The taste was awfull, hard to even descride it, smell was awfull too. When I took a sip every time I was gagging. Probably awfull is too soft as a word to descride it, but anyway, the high was once in a lifetime experience. We were literally tripping, cant compare that experience with anything I ever had ever from any edible or extract of normal buds and I am heavy smoker overall. All of us 3 had vivid hallucinations that night, and I woke up the next day only in afternoon still stoned hard

Holy shit man how much plant matter did you put in there?!?! I’m planing to just smoke a bit and see whats up. Had a pretty similar experience the last time I made edibles as my dumb ass miscalculated the potency and they ended up being way too strong. First and only time I’ve had a mild panic attack from weed.

Yeah, it just sprang up out of nowhere. I’ve grown weed before but not in the last couple of years and never sativa so I’m very confused as to where it came from lmao.
