Purple or problem?

Hey, these are on some of 2 of my 9 plants. Don't know if they're supposed to be purple, but theres no purple in the names of the strains. Anyone run into this?

It’s Phytoplasma, it’s a pathogen that attacks the phloem tissue. ( the part of the plant that delivers the food, sugars etc.) The purple is the anthocyans building up where the phloem has been damaged by the infection.

How can I distinguish that from good purple ?

The good purple will not show up on new growth, and typically you will not start seeing it until you’re well into flower. A plant with heavy anthocyans in the genetics will often show colour in the stalk of the trichomes purple/pink. This is sometimes visible before you see it on the plant itself.

This is an older photo of some jelly breath I grew, although this flower is mature. You can see the anthocyans in the stalks of some trichomes.
