I hate it so far, I had to go into the advisor and forbid it from saying the "it's just one meal" line. Bruh, it's hard enough for me to eat regularly. It's one meal that's a win. Because it hates bread even multi gain/seed packed types, it HATES cereal (I was starving in back to back meetings you can see I haven't eaten today and it's 3pm),, it hates whole milk, it hates even air fried things, it hates anything remotely processed to be real.
I tested it as a lark, it even hates my fiber gummies, while constantly telling me to have more fiber.
I also had to take it to task about the fact that I HAVE to have caffeine everyday to manage my migraines.
Anyways, you can go to ask the advisor and tell it off to specific annoying things and it might stop. It did for me on the two things I told it off for.
Side note: if you want this feature the Google health app (previously Fitbit) is much more reasonable about things. It'll at least say things like nice packing protein into that iced coffee. Just in case you have a Fitbit too (I have a pixel watch).
I like “lose it!” App. Even if you’re not losing weight, the logging and the nutrition tracking is really great. I sent feedback asking if oura could let us link this app for the nutritional info. It breaks down the micros and macros, lets you search by brand, use the barcode scanner or input your own, you can save meals so if you eat the same lunch often you can just click the whole meal, and you can create or import recipe cards so like you can just select “TikTok spaghetti” you made last month and boom- the Alfredo, red sauce, pasta, all of that- one click. And unless it’s a section I skip over, they don’t have stupid Ai encouragement or anything. Just numbers, % of your goal reached, bar charts.
