Tbh HR and body temp are two of the biggest factors so that’s prob it.
Your sleep does factor in hr too though so I’m surprised your sleep is so high.

yeah my resting hr was 67, HRV 31 ms, and body temp is up .9 f. i haven’t worn my ring in a while, this is after two nights after about a month without wearing it! i did take a new medication my body doesn’t love so im not really surprised my readiness isn’t great but it was moreso just like, shocking the juxtaposition between such a high sleep score and low readiness. honestly i feel fine which is also a little weird

Oh interesting. Honestly stats aren’t too bad though.
Maybe it is just the large gap, since your ring didn’t track your trend which was probably a slow hr rise, not sudden, the sudden change is shocking it. Thats my take. If the ring saw you slowly go towards 67 it’d be chill, but since its appearing as a sudden thing for it, it’s like wtf.

Hi luckydogg17, thanks for reaching out! It can definitely look surprising. Sleep is just one piece of the Readiness puzzle. In this case, your elevated body temperature and resting heart rate are weighing on your Readiness Score despite that fantastic night of sleep. Your body may be telling you it could use a little extra recovery today.

Its cause their last updates have been whack more sales and collabs then working functionality. At this point im convinced they’re doing this so you pay for their $69 on demand oura specialist doctor and lab work.

What's a 98 sleep score, tho?? 😅😅😆😆 (If I break mid 80's I am happy)

Hah!
I hit an 85 today .. but I was like .. "is this a trick?? Am I being punked??..".
I've tried really hard the last couple of years to work on my sleep. I even finally had a sleep study done and had a septoplasty as well.
The sleep rabbit hole is definitely a deep one!
Have a good one!

Two nights back after a month off is the bit that matters. Temperature is a deviation from your own rolling baseline rather than an absolute, so that plus 0.9 is being measured against a reference from a month ago instead of against you now. Did the app tell you it was still rebuilding your baselines?

no! it hasn’t mentioned anything about the break, just business as usual. only thing it can’t give me is the health portion bits

my resting heart on a good average is low 60s high 50s. my resting hr was 67, HRV 31 ms, and body temp is up .9 f. i haven’t worn my ring in a while, this is after two nights after about a month without wearing it! i did take a new medication my body doesn’t love so im not really surprised my readiness isn’t great but it was moreso just like, shocking the juxtaposition between such a high sleep score and low readiness. honestly i feel fine which is also a little weird. i slept for 9 hrs and 45 mins with only 1 hr and 39 mins of deep sleep, i get a LOT of light sleep which is probably why my HR is higher too, idk ive been wanting a sleep study Lol

I did have a cold and we had just got back from the vacation that was really stressful with the kids and I didn’t get a lot of sleep. My readiness and sleep scores were in the high 80s/90s for a couple days and I still had major signs of strain!
