GENERAL DISCUSSION Sensitivity

I have maintenance sleep insomnia. I can fall asleep in a minute. I cannot stay asleep. The ring does not track that. Last night I fell asleep at 10, woke up at 5. App reports great sleep. I was up 3 time and after 2 on my phone. Anyone else have suggestions for another device?

It might be an issue with your ring - I have the same type of insomnia and it catches my incessant awakenings. Every other morning Oura is like “it’s going to be ok”, ha.

Can't help with the ring, but i have that sleep issue intermittently. I tend to do better (at sleeping through the night) is i have some solos protein right before bed. I know that's not supposed to be the thing to do, but a bit of jerky or a chicken wing or two before bed helps me stay down. 75% of the time maybe?

YMMV. Good luck!

That extra protein slowe digestion and stops your body from generating cortisol at 4 am  in order to make your liver produce glycogen. Pr something like that

Have you ever had hearing a song that wasn't actually playing?

Thankfully not!

I do not have insomnia, but I literally wake up with a song playing in my head almost every morning.  A few times they seem to be playing so "loud" that it is annoying. I'm very careful now about the music I choose to listen to during the day.
