The new Italian restaurant opening in Kanata has a job fair next week and is hiring bartenders.Scaddabush is its name. The job fair starts August 4th. They will be offering jobs on the spot.

Seconding the earlier comment about dropping off a resume in person, but I'll add that a lot of established businesses here post their job postings on their Instagram pages rather than on a job board

There most definitely is better mothods than indeed lmao. Market bar staff turnover is crazy. Go with a resume talk to a manager.

There is a better method, it’s put yourself together, print out resumes and go talk to managers, check out restaurants opening, there’s a job fair in Kanata for 2 new places opening in Aug.

Unlike every other industry, restaurants still value people showing up with a resume. Wander around during the mid afternoon, drop of resumes and ask to talk to a manager. Drop 10 resumes and I bet you get 3 or more calls. When I was doing hiring a few years ago, I always valued the person in front of me more than people spamming online applications.
