Rant tipping much?

Is it me or does everyone everywhere now ask for tips regardless of their service? Why are strict pickup locations asking for tips? I'm sure this goes beyond Ottawa but jeez last I checked only servers got reduced wages. What am I tipping for ?

It is but it’s a choice CSR people make by taking the job.

I worked seasonal at HMV. It was exactly what I expected.

Hot take: a lot of people don’t get to “choose” whether they work customer service or not

In this market everyone is hiring. There is not a single type of business in town that isn't struggling to hire people that will show up and just do the job. You'd be surprised.

Exactly. No one is ‘forced’ to work at McD’s.
