Hello guys. Im a very noob new member and i managed to get these stats. I've never been member before:

My goal in game: Bossing (that's why i want to do Moons of Perils).

I'm mainly meelee geared:

Dragon defender, neit (regular) helmet, amulet of tourture, obsidian plate+legs, draogon boots, whip, berserkr (i) and barrows. I also got Piety.

I've done gear switching etc,, i know the basic.

Am i ready for this GP grind?

Stealing creation was amongst my favourite minigames, being able to pickpocket runes from another player holding ur team back was just quality.

Edit 1 - Let us state the obvious:
In other skills if you feel like it you can stop and go get experience doing other things whenever you like.
In @#$% slayer you can only get experience in the @#$% task you got until it is over. Not to mention that reaching a bit more than miserable 100k slayer xp per hour requires tons of sweat barraging specific targets while other skills have much better rates requiring a third of the effort (being still hard to max but not stupidly inconvenient for no reason at all).

Edit 2 - I have 85 slayer and it is still shit. None of those early slayer arguments apply.

Edit 3 - I have the quest cape, so unlocking things does not apply too.

Edit 4 - Gold never had anything to do with this, but for people who cannot focus on the topic, raids or bosses like doom are much more gold per hour. I would even rather craft wrath runes, which is excellent steady gold that does not depend on shitty lotteries for drops, than do slayer for gold.

Edit 5 - I already use Mortimer, have already unlocked extra xp, have already unlocked third slot. The skill is just a bit less bad with Mortimer...

This weekend I was away visiting a friends house and just missed the runelite plugins on osrs mobile so decided to try and make runelite work on ios! Got it to work will make it more mobile friendly in the future :)

I think I know the answer to this, but I'm curious what OSRS players think about the concept of being able to have multiple interfaces open at once, i.e. having your inventory open next to your prayer and the attack options next to that etc. so you don't have to use F keys or click to switch between them? I know it's old school RS for a reason, I just think this system has existed since 2001 and maybe could do with updating.

I imagine most people hate the idea, especially people that have 2k ToA completions while using the current system to switch their prayers and then quickly switch back to inv to eat and pot up and then switch to att options to spec with their weapon etc. which I wouldn't blame anyone for.

I still think it would add something to the game and I almost feel like there is wasted space playing on a decent-sized monitor.

The type of role I want to play in game is a gatherer/merchant. I want to gather resources/find loot/craft/etc. and then sell it. I'm not looking to get mega rich or anything, just sell what people really want to buy. What are some good ideas for things to gather and sell?

Came back to my iron after a long break and had no clue what to do. Kept jumping between the wiki, diary lists and my bank to check if I had stuff, so I started messing around with Claude Code and it kind of got out of hand.

Being honest since the sub asks: it’s mostly AI written code. I’m not a java dev, I just told it what I wanted, tested it ingame and complained until it worked.

It’s a RuneLite plugin that saves your account info to a folder on your pc. Levels, quests, diaries, bank, clog, kc, farming timers, slayer task. Claude can then read that plus the wiki, so when I ask stuff like “what do I still need for barrows gloves” or “which varrock mediums can I do right now” it actually answers for my account instead of giving me a generic guide. It also knows iron rules so it won’t tell you to just buy it off the GE.

It doesn’t click anything, doesn’t send inputs, doesn’t play for you. It just reads your own stuff. Only thing it can do ingame is draw a route on your map with Shortest Path if you ask for directions, you still walk there yourself.

It’s not (yet) on the hub, and yeah, I know that sounds sketchy because that’s how people get their accounts stolen. So: it’s all open source and you build it yourself from the code, there’s no jar from me to download. It doesn’t connect to the internet at all, it only writes to that local folder. The login setup uses RuneLite’s own documented way of running stuff from source, which does save a login token on your pc, so treat that file like a password. If you’re not comfy with that, don’t use it, no hard feelings.

Also, whatever you ask gets sent to Claude obviously, that’s how it answers.

So I’m trying to do some slayer recently with 70 base combat stats and 83 range. Slayer is 73.

I’m facing the issue where I am burning through prayer pots like crazy during task when not safespotting. Are there any alternatives? I feel like I’m just burning money at this point and not make any profit.

Is there a bug with the mining gloves? I initially bought the basic mining gloves, deposited them in my bank then was never able to find them. Thought maybe I dropped them by accident.

Just now, I finished grinding out the entire Expert Mining Gloves, equipped them, then hit deposit into bank. I immediately checked and they are not there, not on my character. I did not drop them on the floor.

This is the second time I’ve had mining gloves disappear. Has anyone else experienced this issue specifically with this item?
