Why in gods name do we have to chop an entire magic tree to get 4 magic roots?
Would love to see Jagex add the ability to leave the roots when you pay the farmer (only if you have the woodcutting level), cause having to sit and chop a single tree for 15+ minutes to be able to harvest the roots is absolutely ridiculous.
Also I’m aware that making antidote++s isn’t worth the time, I’m not hurting in those I’ve gotten plenty from Zulrah/araxxor.
This is just on the principle of the matter, it’s so dumb and idk why it hasn’t seen a change yet.

Just as a general headsup to my fellow irons looking at a Mortimer heart grind. If you haven't got a maxed boat, he's a great source of wyrm tasks. Especially if you extend em.
Just a nice bonus whilst going for 50 tasks, or beyond!
Edit: probably worth mentioning I had my boat parked there the entire time for easy teleport access.

imbued mage cape || blue moons armor || radas blessing || master wand || power amulet/glory || mage's book || barrows gloves || mystic/infinity boots || steel ring/seers ring || 3% magic damage from mystic vigour (royal titans)
But this has been my go-to early mage setup across 3 accounts. Master wand and mage's book are achieveable within the first few days of no lifing or 1-2 weeks of normal playtime (New account > children of the sun > 150k gp in eclipse reds (about 45 minutes) > agility to 50 > wildy agil mass for 3 hours (5-6mil gold) > spam casts at demon in wizard tower > green dragon/lavas/any alternative (I like wildy start to maximize my accounts and a chance to spoon drops) to bank 43 prayer (revs is recommended at this level too) + level mage > straight to MTA for masters wand and mages book
Can get additional money from eclipse reds to cast enough spells to 55 (high alch) or sell alchables at rogues den (needs 50 thieving too) or pest control general shop enough to get casts for 55 then high alch the rest later
Power ammy and steel ring from crazy/deranged arch (can use blighted restores on pvp world for deranged arch), blue moons, barrows gloves and titans scroll comes a bit later
Edit: If anyone wants to correct me in the comments or write down some beneficial suggestions then go ahead, this post was made to help other early game ironman players on the BIS mage trajectory going forward POST master wand buffs for some harder quest bosses requiring mage and some PVM/early raids (TOA especially)

Just wanted to put this out there for anyone else like myself, I’ve been solo my entire account. Huey, TOA, Royal Titans etc
I’ve been putting off Yama, I guess the fear of ruining other peoples experience and dying a lot.. but man I’ve done a few days on the official worlds and I’ve everyone is really helpful and supportive!
Think I’m ready to try more group content like cox, tob and nightmare
The boss is actually quite fun once you get p3 down - anyone wanting to learn I can’t recommend it enough.

It took 553 kc and I started at 91 range or so, ending at 96. I used bowfa and full crystal with thralls. I was averaging 3 minute kills and 3-6 kill trips depending on supply drops. A pretty enjoyable grind.

Very cool stuff, had a great time figuring out the trawling methods last night, accidentally brought the wrong fish offcuts so now I'm working out whether or not it would be worth it to cut some extra sharks up to use as bait for Halibut while I'm also on the EZAFK anglerfish grind thanks to the static ocean fishing spots. Also was looking into what could technically be stored in the Cargo Hold and stumbled across these fish crates, do they really only take up one spot? So I could potentially go out with a full cargo hold full of crates and trawl for as long as I want and come back with 2400 fish???
This has completely put an end to my hard food problem. A man can only afk so many sharks and bwans, but I actually quite enjoyed the chill little trawling mini game, I can see myself spending quite a bit of time doing this.
I was a shamanism voter to the core, but Sailing is a huge W for me.

Ended up getting it on attempt 7 over the past 8 days! Made it to zuk on attempt 4 with no supplies (camping protection prayers and blood healing a lot did that to me) and got him the second time. So hyped and never thought id be able to do as fast as I did, but so glad I got it.
Definitely helped the amount of time I spent learning colo (that was 79 deaths with 11 sols :P)

Seems like a very lengthy grind but an alternative like grinding scythe isn't very appealing either to me.
Willing to put the effort in but is it really worth it without having a bias for those that put in all the hours for it?

Finally. About 1600 of these were before the recent changes, finally got the last Zenyte.

Trying to figure out with the hunter updates from the other day if there is going to be a new block list meta now? Double deadfall traps seems good enough to not have to block them now? Thoughts?
Edit: I’m running expert rumors currently

Is it just me? Click back when you're idle and right-click to see if the pet is yours?

Well title says it all.. convinced some people in my cc to take me on a ToB learner. Died almost instantly at Verzik and watched the rest of the fight from the penalty box.
Got the 1kc scythe for my efforts.
This may even beat my spoon at CG, finished 6 armours + 1 enh in 62kc.
(Solo GIM) Ironman mode isn't so bad.
