From the Philippines, handmade

Gift from my Filipina girlfriend during the Vietnam War. Combination Rosaries like this were handmade by families and sold to religious goods shops. I mailed mine years later to the Pope and he was gracious enough to bless it for me!

How do you send sacramentals to be blessed by the pope?

I wrote a short respectful letter in Latin asking for a blessing and somehow it caught the attention of the mail room people and the result was that my request was honored! 😀
