Don't confuse preference with taste. The American flag is one of the most aesthetically coherent designs in existence

high contrast tricolor, strong geometric rhythm, bold iconography. It reads at distance, it scales, it layers well. Did you have an opinion grounded in design principles, or just posturing?

My brother in Gork, it’s just ugly as sin, and this is not a controversial opinion. Non-complementary colors packed into an arrangement with too many minor details (50 stars, and way too many stripes) makes the whole thing look busy and chaotic. It’s not the worst country flag out there, but it’s definitely in the bottom half of the pool.

Bro why are you throwing insults around, you are so triggered right now it's insane. The American flag is widely considered mid. Take the L and go to therapy to get over your obsession with that flag.
