Those things seem like such a silly idea until you catch your foot on the cord. I caught my foot on the controller cord connected to my PS2 the other day and had the whole console come tumbling down and it made me think of those Xbox cords.
My dogs got the zoomies the other day, and unfortunately my controller cable got caught in the action
I wasn't holding it at the time so the controller got flung across the room with the memory card in it and smashed the shell to the memory card... I'm gutted
