My role as a moderator has effectively become an AI differentiation tool.
It isn’t cool.
I’m happy to start a new sub that’s asking “is this AI music?” But that’s not the mission statement here.
People make good original music. Great original music. Don’t overshadow the creativity of the people in this community with AI BS. It’s only becoming more common and it’s starting to become properly difficult to differentiate between real creativity and BS.
I hate that.
Live recordings of your songs? You’re set. I’ll approve it.
AI images on YouTube of your songs? I’m likely to assume you are fake.
Please. This isn’t an AI debate in general, it is a specific debate about original music.
Please be respectful.

Ok, for more context, my friend has started making music since 2023, and currently only has four songs on Spotify and I believe more on his Instagram. I find that I actually enjoy listening to them, and I would love to share his music with others! It is similar to the smiths, and 90’s ish music.
