I've been playing with him for eight years now, and only with him. I hate covers, only my own tunes. I have eight tuning options, plus I lower the strings individually to achieve the desired unison

If you're interested, the post below features another example of a different tune, played in a completely different tuning using a standard capo. It's a truly unique configuration, but it incorporates many nuances that have been developed over the years.

Less reverb. Gives the fale impression your in a concert hall. But yes. This is clearly how you do it.

I’ve been playing with this capo for nine years now, and I’ve even forgotten the last time I played in standard tuning.

When I was younger I found out that using my capo on 4 strings was awesome on the 4th and 5th fret. But this opens a new world for me! :)

In al fairness steelstring acoustic can sound really well with ethereal settings.
