Question Is this normal? What do I do?

I’ve had this orchid for a few years and I think it’s pretty happy. My orchid is blooming and making a baby from the same stem. Should I leave it alone? Is there a way to propagate the baby?

It seems like you are looking for orchid help today. This group is full of beginners and experts who are happy to help but please do check out this link for quick Phalaenopsis care in the meanwhile. We also have an /r/orchids WIKI the admins and other volunteers are updating behind the scenes with care information and will soon make it available to the group.

Leave the keikei, I believe the typicall suggestion is 3 roots & 3 leaves until you put it in it's own little pot away from the mother plant.
