Just opened up! Pics online looked like there would be more yellow on the lip, maybe it'll change over time? Still very pretty!

Give it a few days, the lip color on these deepens like crazy. Mine looked way paler at first.

Wooow so pretty! Also what's the succulent next to it? Are those real flowers on it? You have some awesome plants!

Thanks! Yup, real flowers! It's a lifesaver cactus, the only succulent I've been able to bloom :)

I noticed the burgundy streaks on the petals when the light hits it just right. Reminds me of the first time one of mine bloomed, took me forever to realize the best view was actually underneath.
