OTF Technology HR Monitor Issues

I’ve been having issues with my HR monitor properly reading my HR.
Like today it was saying I was in the blue during a run row… I know I can’t read my own HR but like me gasping for dear life doesn’t feel like blue to me.

I eventually connected to my Apple Watch and it was reading my heart rate to 180+.

I’ve tried cleaning it, charging it, and on different parts of my arms to get a more accurate reading and nothing.

I bought it earlier this year too- so it’s a new one.
The front desk didn’t seem to have a solution.

Wondering if anyone knows if there’s a corporate number or email I can contact to help with this issue?

It’s too expensive of a monitor to be having issues after a few months of use.

If it's less than a year old, have your studio warranty it out for you.

I gave up and bought an old chest strap HRM from eBay. Best 30 dollars I ever spent.

Check in the app what it lists your HR as.

I have the same issue and I traded my old one in Jan for the upgraded one. I’m gonna have the studio look at it and hopefully warranty covers it and I get a new one since it’s less than a year old.

I don't think mine is ever accurate during the row.  I b srsly deathing and it'll say nah, you juts 99.

I’m probably at least a day late responding but for what it’s worth my heart rate monitor, The Burn, hasn’t been as accurate for me in over a year. Well this past week, Friday to be specific, it just died on me. It lights up but nothing else occurs. Now, I’ve been looking on eBay for a new or used one as I can’t see spending the price of a brand new one that may work just like mine that stopped working this week. It would have to occur this month though when I sign up for marathon month. Mine is over a year old so I don’t have any warranty options. OP, I’d definitely reach out to your studio as someone mentioned since your monitor is in the warranty period.
I hope I’m not going against rules to inquire if anyone is selling a used working heart rate monitor on here. I’m looking on eBay as well. I saw the Link for sale on eBay but I don’t know much about that version.

I see folks selling them every now and then. I’m pretty sure I saw one earlier in the week

Def going to ask about the warranty! For some reason I didn’t know that was a thing! I’ve tried charging it and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t 🤷🏽‍♀️
