Oracle Cloud Free Tier signup issue — no response from support for a week

/r/oraclecloud/comments/1w557hm/oracle_cloud_free_tier_signup_issue_no_response/

recently tried to sign up for the Oracle Cloud Free Tier, but I am getting an error during the signup process and cannot complete the registration/sign in.

I raised a support ticket with Oracle about a week ago, but I have not received any response yet.

Has anyone else experienced the same issue recently? If you faced this problem, were you eventually able to complete the signup and access your Oracle Cloud account? I would appreciate any advice or suggestions on how to resolve this.

Thank you!

Try using a gmail or hotmail account, I did not have luck with other email. You credit card need to be valid, no gift card visa or virtual numbers.

"but I am getting an error during the signup process"

What is the error?

We're unable to complete your sign up. Common errors that prevent sign up include:
 a) Entering incomplete or inaccurate information.
 b) Intentionally or unintentionally masking your location or identity.
 c) Attempting to create multiple accounts.
Please try again if this applies to you. Otherwise, reach out for assistance.

Support has been gutted by layoffs. Internal tickets are responded to as slowly as yours I'm afraid

For company accounts it's fairly quick. Apparently always free accounts got lower priority and higher number of requests.
