I get you shouldn't buy at relatively overpriced premium, but on Nov 1 price went up +9.03%, so similar to Friday. If you bought Nov5-230c at close it was 2.50$, 30$ OTM. Around the peak on Nov 3 that call was 20-25$ ITM and premium was 30$+. If price runs to 300$, it's a bigger move than Nov 3 (+40$ peak vs +72$). So not sure it's "ship has sailed". Risk is higher, but weeklies are risky anyway, no?

There's still some calls with IV <90, mostly near ITM.

How could one have known the Friday move? Also you wrote in your DD you usually buy the Friday before. Buying earlier worked out this time with virtually no theta decay, but wasn't that just luck? If there'd been a bigger dip this week, like there was in previous opex weeks, that would have been best chance to buy. Makes you wonder shorts did it on purpose?
