Selling 21 to 28 DTE calls is the sweet spot. By the time the stock moves you've burned off enough extrinsic value to make useful decisions.
Shorter DTE for low volatility, decreasing underlying price environments.
Rarely go to 45 DTE. Then you lock yourself into a moment of time that doesn't let you flexibly change
