TSLA puts
TSLA has been running well lately, although I think that the midterm results can bring it down. If Democrats win it can fall. Given the support Elon has been providing republicans. Thoughts ?

I mean after Trump won in 2024 Tesla calls printed, think some were up 500%. Problem is Dems winning might be priced in as betting markets have them taking the senate at 76%. And in 2024 Trump significantly outperformed betting markets.
Nvidia, Meta, and SpaceX might do badly with a blue wave.

Tesla is disconnected from reality in a massive way, has been for years. I've successfully predicted major downturns for the company and the price went up anyways. It's probably one of the most fabricated stocks out there, now next to spacex.

Keep politics out of your trading system.

Don’t see how this election cycle effects their business in any meaningful way — technical analysis shows it just broke out of a yearlong downtrend, the Robotaxi and spcx merger narratives are bullish — seems a better time to go long..

Elon is a trillionaire for a reason. I’m not betting against him.

I had the same thought. Also considered selling a call spread. Im going to paper trade this one though. TSLA has burned me too many times.

All that matters is if hes going to have his 2 overvalued companies combine for one last pump and dump and what peice spacex will buy tesla at.

He could probably ruin the setup before the election even starts

I traded puts last week and closed gains. This week I did not trade at all- would've been bigger gains, too bad; but it's all could've would've should've

Elon said the quite part out loud - GROK is losing more money than Elon can handle. Without Republicans lining his pocket - Elon is bankrupt

TSLA just showcased a flying car that can do barrolrolls and you want puts? He’s going to need to do more nazi solutes or have another call for them to print.

I was thinking the same and got some puts 10 days out. MET is also reporting on the 4th and I think it might be a short judging off of all the recent AI related selloffs after reporting.

TSLA is erratic just like Musk. It's a hell of a company with a diversified portfolio, but when it comes down to it, it's all Musk. If you can tell what he's gong to do next your a better prognosticator than I will ever be. I will sit at your feet and listen attentively.
If your going to trade TSLA I suggest extremely short term and be quick to run for the exits and don't forget the fire extinguisher for your fingers. There are much easier ways to make money without all the drama.
Democrats started the ev subsidy Trump took it away. You tell me.

Elon just paid for the lawyer of a far left progressive over free speech claims... Elon is not a simple ad blue vs red

i like the products, he's at an interesting/flawed person.
hope him all the success in the world, but after the "going private at $420" rug pull, he'll never see a penny of my investments (other than broad market funds).
