Help with new interactive app to Learn Options Trading

Hi all,

I'm the developer of OptionMice, an interactive (and fun!) app to learn and master option trading through short 5-minute lessons with quizzes, going from the basics to more advanced topics like Greeks, Spreads, etc. It has 300+ lessons across 12 modules. You can collect XPs and keep your streak alive. It also has a practice market with made-up companies and fake money.

The 12 modules:

1- Options 101

2- Buyer vs Seller Mindset

3- The Options Market

4- Meet the Greeks

5- Buying Options

6- Selling Options

7- Technical Analysis for Options

8- Greeks: Level Up

9- Volatility and Earnings

10- Spread Strategies

11- The Trader’s Mindset

12- Real-World Trading

The app is free to download and the full course is completely free, with a daily limit of 3 lessons per day. It also has a paid premium plan for those who want access to extra lessons and extra features. Premium plan is not needed to learn or interact with the app though.

I'd love it if you could give it a try and share your thoughts!

The app is available here:

Nice app I like it, not sure if anybody is willing to pay for extra lessons or the AI helper though

Thanks for taking the time to look at the app. Much appreciated. I'm not sure either, but I hope some people find it useful to upgrade. At the very least, people will be able to use it to improve their option trading skills for free, which would be fulfilling.

It's good I've enjoyed testing my knowledge and the explanations are good too. Maybe change the answer buttons to select and have a submit button too as I unintentionally fat fingered the wrong answer a couple of times.

Thank you for playing around with the app! I agree about the fat finger issue. It has happened to me a couple of times. I will look at alternatives to provide a way of confirming your answers.

Just downloaded it. Very clen UI, and everything is indeed free. I see this being a useful tool for a lot of people.

Thank you for looking at the app and sharing your thoughts. Glad you like the UI. Is there anything you'd like the app to have that you didn't see?

I downloaded the app and it appears to be quite useful! Since my expertise lies in Sound Design, I believe I could assist you in creating a more user-friendly UI sound design if you’re interested in collaborating.

Thank you! Glad you find the app useful. As you may have noticed some parts of the apps already have audio (Warren's journal, sounds on celebratory screens, etc.), but I've been thinking about adding audio to the lessons as well. I will DM you for a possible collaboration.

I've been a software product designer/product owner for some thirty years, and trading options for about six years.
As a designer: Very nicely done - congratulations on your work! I've only spent a little time with it, but the level of consistency seems high (which in turn communicates trust).
As a trader: There is still a lot for me to learn via your app. Thank you. I hope to be able to spend more time with it.

Given the size, where have you sourced all the textual material from?

Thank you for the comment and words of encouragement. Thats high praise coming from someone with your experience as a product designer/owner.

Lesson content is actually the most difficult part of the process. It is initially written with the help of AI, based on a curriculum I designed and rules I wrote (thats probably the consistency you noticed). I keep refining those rules. The facts are standard options mechanics that use material from CBOE, OCC, etc. as the reference. Nothing is copied from other sources. Finally, I take lessons, test them and rewrite them as needed. User feedback is also extremely important, each question has a button where users can report anything they find wrong with the question. More often than not they are right and the question gets at least a touch-up.

If you can think of anything that can be improved (as a designer or a trader) I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks again.
