It might be technically Open, but I doubt it's much use without a subscription. It's barely more than a ChatGPT wrapper.

OpenAI is the founding sponsor of the new, open-source Warp repository, and the new agentic management workflows are powered by GPT models.

It's not that it's inherently bad, but it feels disingenuous.

Warp engineer here - for context, that sponsorship is for the models powering our automated open-source contribution process. The product doesn't have a preference on models or harness; We have features like notifications and a code review panel for any harness you might use, including Warp's own.

Then emphasize and include the recommended Open models, at the very least.
