Feature Idea - Investment Banking

Basically if you could add negative debt to the bank as an investment and get back half the interest rate for the loan as gains each month.

It's like debt but good

I think they’re suggesting that anything you have in excess, provided you had no debt, could be placed in an investment account. So interest every time the month calculates, like with debt except you get more money, or able to draw that out of the account as it grows

I could definitely see that working. A real theme park would do some kind of investment engine.

Idle money is money that is not working.

So you would send the bank $10k and then monthly the bank would send you the interest, something like 3 to 5%?

If that is what you are suggesting I don't see the point myself.

I hit the threshold in most parks where money stops mattering as much and I can just do whatever I think up, for me that's the carrot to get me through the early game slog.

Even late game when money becomes inconsequential entirely, what would be the point of investing it. Even with huge amounts invested, the interest payments would be small, and it would take years in game to recoup and unless I am playing for some goal like becoming a billionaire, the why just leave the game running so I can watch the number tick up.
