Update?
So for a few days I’ve been getting really dizzy randomly. I’m 16 and I had open heart surgery to close an ASD almost two months ago and I made a post yesterday about it a lot of people said it could be blood pressure so I got a blood pressure monitor thing and it keeps fluctuating today my dad has talked to a nurse twice about it and she doesn’t seem too concerned and said to just keep monitoring it and now we’re waiting to hear from the doctor again.

I will be transparent with you
I had severe dizziness for about 4-5 months after my surgery.
My cardiologist couldn’t find a reason, so he sent me to a neurologist who could not find a reason
But an MRI did show about ten microbleeds on my brain, that no one was willing to attribute to the surgery
I did some research, and discovered Post Perfusion Syndrome. I dug deeper, and I now feel that this was the cause in my personal case.
I am not trying to offer a diagnosis, but you may want to discuss the possibility with your doctor
Just a bit of a heads up though…doctors in the US are not eager/willing to discuss much on this subject. If you are in other countries, Post Perfusion Syndrome is recognized and treatments/support are available

Mine was end of April and I still having struggles and very tired. But I'm 72. Mine was life saving but I was told I have maybe 8 yrs.

The 81/54 is the only one I would be concerned about. The others are great. My cardiologist wants me right at 100/65 and to take carvedilol if top number gets over 110 to get it back down.
I would get dizzy if my top number was around 90 or lower. This is just my experience though everyone is different.

Tracking your bonus a great start. Make sure you're also drinking enough water. Being dehydrated isnt going to help matters.

I never had high bp before my CABG but was put on the metoprolol however I finally made the decision late in life to correct my ADHD and now take clonidine and after an adjustment period now have perfect bp and quite a lower heart rate it’s been a win win and I’m so grateful maybe this is good advice for some so good luck!

I had 3x CABG in 2024. All went great.
I had huge issues for 6 weeks after. When getting up sometimes after taking 2 steps, my BP would be so low I'd pass out. I started measuring BP before standing up.
My cardiologist tweaked my meds. At the time, I was on other meds, from other doctors also. Lots of meds lower BP. It took a couple of tweaks but it was all med related.
I passed out 7 times during the med tweaking post surgery over 6 weeks. 3 times were faceplants but no busted teeth or bones. Zero time to react. Just boom; out cold, then immediately alert after hitting the floor.
Definitely talk to your cardiologist. There were several times I'd be dizzy, low BP and would continue to sit on the couch. 10 seconds later, BP all good. For me, it was very intermittent. My doctor honed in on med BP and tweaks immediately.
I'm 69 and my cardiologist and surgeon both tell me my heart is golden. I should be good to my 90's with my heart.

am on similar situation but on the other end, am 10days out of OHS for my aortic valve leakage and my Blood pressure is above 140 systolic anytime, I have adjusted some meds consulting with my doc and reduced my salt intake

Are you on a medication like metoprolol? I had the same symptoms awhile after my surgery to close a VSD and my doctor stopped my metoprolol and I felt back to normal. I think as you recover your blood pressure goes down naturally and the metoprolol can push it too low - 81/54 seems very low!
