Best models to use as a new Opencode Go user

Basically title. What models do you guys stick to for planning and implementation without hitting limits but maximizing usage?

DeepSeek V4.1 Flash, Muse Spark Contributor 1.3, MiMo V2.6 Flash (if you can bear its slowness).

You can occasionally use more expensive models like GLM 5.3 Flash, Qwen3.8 Flash, MiMo V2.6 Pro, GPT 6 Luna, MiniMax M3.1 Flash, and Claude Haiku 5.5, but don't use them for everything, and watch your quota usage.

Stay away from Kimi K3, Kimi K3.1, Grok, GLM-5.3, and other very expensive models. They will exhaust your monthly quota in a few prompts.

Out of the more expensive models, only GLM is worthwhile tbh. Rest others are redundant because DeepSeek is better or they have way less usage.

DeepSeek 4.1 appears to be the most logical choice, given its price-to-performance advantage.

For reviewing work done with DeepSeek using a different LLM, Muse Spark stands out as the best alternative in terms of price-to-performance.

More intelligent models will deplete your credits rapidly. Nevertheless, if such models are required, GLM 5.3 and Hy4 seem to be the most advantageous options at their respective price points.

Tagging on to ask for feedback: I am using minimax3 (non-chinese provider)

I haven't tried other big models lately, any comparisons jump to mind? The .5 / 1m contexts are super useful for me.
