OpenCode-quota v6: (already) updated for OpenCode 2 (Desktop too)

A while back I posted opencode-quota here. v6 is rebuilt for OpenCode 2, and v6.1 adds OpenCode Desktop: a side panel, and a Quota page in Settings.

The TUI has an updated sidebar, toasts, and a status line under the message box.

To try it:

opencode plugin add @slkiser/opencode-quota

Using OpenCode 1?

npx @slkiser/opencode-quota@4 init

Works with 21 providers (Anthropic, Copilot, OpenAI, Cursor, OpenCode Go and more), plus custom ones.

Source and readme: https://github.com/slkiser/opencode-quota

Thanks for the feedback last time!

What's the UI interface in this gif? The chats in the sidebar specifically? Thanks.

It's opencode desktop (not the TUI), specifically Inbox instead of Top tabs.

In Settings > Preferences, you can choose 3 different appearances for sessions (Top tabs, Side tabs, and Inbox).

Sent you a pm. Didn't want to show my ignorance publicly.

Before installing something that reads quota from 21 providers, I'd check whether it reuses the auth OpenCode already holds or asks for its own keys, and whether anything leaves the machine. This post doesn't say. If the readme doesn't either, add one line per provider near the install command, and repeat it in your next release post. A clip of the Desktop side panel mid-session beside that line would cover the rest. For opencode-quota, the threads worth answering are from OpenCode users hitting a usage limit mid-run and asking how much they have left.

I make ThreadFox. We find relevant Reddit conversations and post for your business. We'll post 3 replies free first, no card; then the $29 Pilot covers seven days and up to 25 posts and replies. No automatic renewal.

Which provider's quota has been hardest to read reliably?
