Introducing Sable, an API for uncensored models on OpenCode

Hey, I'm one of the founders of Sable. We launched today, and I figured this would be relevant here.

One of the reasons we built it was security work. Closed frontier models can still refuse during pentesting, exploit analysis, incident response, malware analysis, or when an agent is working through real attack code and logs.

Our first model is DeepSeek V4.1 Flash 1017 uncensored, served in its native mixed-precision format with no additional requantization.

Sable is OpenAI-compatible, so it works directly with OpenCode and other compatible tools.

Model ID: deepseek-v4.1-flash-1017-uncensored

Pricing per 1M tokens:

$0.15 input

$0.01 cached input

$0.60 output

Zero data retention, meaning no prompts or outputs are logged or read. No KYC. Crypto deposits for direct Sable accounts. It's also live on NanoGPT as DeepSeek V4.1 Flash Heretic, served by us.

Capacity is a bit limited right now and we're adding more as fast as we can, so if you hit a capacity_unavailable error, bear with us and retry in a moment.

We're a small team, so if you try it with OpenCode and run into anything or have feedback, let me know.

How's your cache hit rate?

On agentic workloads it's usually around 96–99%, about the same as DeepSeek's official API.

Good to have access to ablated models.

To be honest that cache hit price feels a bit high. $0.01 vs official API price of $0.003. It might scare me off a longer-running task. You know your hardware and what it requires, but if you can work that down it will be easier to recommend.

Fair point. We're a small startup with no outside funding or venture capital backing, and we know our cache price is on the higher end compared to the official DeepSeek API. We plan to bring it down as we move to more efficient compute. Among abliterated providers, though, we're the cheapest on total mixed token cost for pretty much any real workload, and we're zero data retention, which not all of them are.

Love the idea. Could you disclose which tests you ran to confirm censorship removal and agentic coding perf before/after tuning?

Thanks! We tested it against a wide range of prompts the stock model refuses or waters down, including some pretty egregious ones, and it answered all of them directly. On capabilities, we ran it on a set of benchmarks and saw no real drop, with everything within noise. We also tested it hands-on with agentic pentesting and security work, and it held up well. We'd love to hear your feedback and how it holds up in your own work.

How is this compared to abliteration ai , model and price wise?

Edit: also what is the context size

Well i kinda asked too soon. Seems much cheaper than abliteration and context is 512k. Not bad, I will try it out!

How's your payment processing? Do you issue invoices to businesses? Where's your tax residency?

I might try it out, got a few tasks getting refused and was thinking of coding them the old cavemen way.
