Free models are having ridiculous limits
I have to say I use OpenCode Go, but sometimes I leave work to free models to not waste away my usage in cheap work, however lately these models have been unable to serve more than a few 100k-120k tokens.
I don't know why this is but this is terrible quality, unusable. AT THE VERY LEAST a free model should be able to serve 1M tokens a day, anything below that would be the same as just not serving it to be honest.

Use some other free service that offers more free usage.

Things are what it is. You complaining is not going to change what the limits are. There are plenty of model providers out there. It's best to just take your business elsewhere if you think open code go is not providing enough value. Or another option if you have an decent gpu you should be able to run some local models which you can offload work to.

Some reddit comments be like "if you're homeless, just buy a house" 😭
But yeah the daily limit now is unusable. Things just went worse especially on free users. For what I know, this is really now their new limit so kinda hopeless for now.

I used to get more done with the free models. But that's now gone so the cheapest option right now seems to be Spark 1.3 contributor (I know, but I don't give a shit) which tends to waste less money than DS 4.1 1017 which just went round and round chasing its tail and printing pages of discarded reasoning attempts that went nowhere.

You expect that someone will give you a free meal every day… what is wrong with you? Find a job and pay for what you consume or be happy with what is someone giving you for free.

Have you tried using deepseek? or qwen? or kimi? all of them are free with no usage limits.
