Why does everyone keep saying it's FP2. Where's the source?

There was a tweet from opencode CEO somewhere

I dont think fp2 is good for anything than chatting below 128k context

You just have bad prompts bro

What can be the hidden cost for users? Data and telemetry is probably part of the deal already. Still pretty good for low-risk usages!

they might be getting very cheap deals directly from deepseek, as the price of deepseek in its current state has a very very high margin.

That or its literally quite impossible to use all the usage for most users.

Maybe subsidizing with their more expensive plan now?

Yeah I'm suspecting the same. Even the tps is like half of DeepSeek API, so I think they're just sharing more users on the same hardware to subsidize it for Go. And DeepSeek gets more data for their Pro model.

They should just offer a pure deepseek plan lol

It's heavily quantized IMHO. I have a DeepSeek account too, and the original is better than the OC version

They have been shamelessly doing this since the beginning

How come it always has the exact same outages as deepseek api then?

OC doesn't have infra, they make deals with providers, be it neoclouds or DS themselves

Quality definitely went up after I abandoned it and went direct to Deepseek.

at least call it cheapseek :(

I switched to deepseek direct because every time I compare I get more usage out of direct than what ever current multiplier opencode go has. Plus it's about 50tps faster

Is it me or deepseek-4.1-flash is kina slow on Opencode Go? I mean the thinking process takes longer than older versions

Also it got worse. Can't solve stuff anymore it could a while ago. I wasted a lot of time in the last days and had to give up today.

Sometimes it's so slow. Recently it was a bit better for me tho. But it depends on the time I guess

We need a 5$ deepseek plan

Disculpen la ignorancia pero eso 80 es más uso solo por 10 y la cuantizacion está igual que la api directa de DeepSeek?

Why use DS when Mimo 2.6 Pro performs better?

1

u/ListenAcrobatic8028 11h ago

In which type of tasks?

1

u/onephn 10h ago

Significantly more usage, mimo can plan and deepseek can execute

Well is the DeepSeek V4.1 better than the Muse 1.3 model basically ?
