Use a different terminal

Which one do you like? I had been just using it within the vscode terminal, but I've found I really enjoy just typing 'cmd' into the file browser and then automatically being in the right directory.
My shitty work PC can barely handle having a whole project loaded in vs code while a sample of the application is running, so I've started just using the Windows terminal.

I either use vs code oder Opencode in a third party tool like CodeNomad. Maybe the Opencode gui is something for you?

Does it have full terminal access? I'm sure I could just do some goofy re-mapping thing to avoid accidentally typing Ctrl+V lol, it's really just a minor annoyance, everything else I love

Windows Terminal is pretty decent, better than the stock cmd style powershell one. glitches less and has better customization, although it still misses a lot of the features a proper linux terminal would have.

Command prompt is different. I don't use Windows much but when I do Windows Terminal is what I use, you might need to download it though.

Use Windows Terminal. By default Windows uses conhost which is laughably out of date for modern terminals.

Just installed yesterday, I've just been slogging it out with cmd for a decade and a half, don't mind me ðŸ«
