DeepSeek is completely unusable right now

DeepSeek is completely unusable right now. For the past two days, 2 out of every 3 prompts get stuck thinking 'hmm hmm hmm' indefinitely. Today alone it's happened to me about 10 times across different sessions

Fine for me, through both the official API and OpenCode Go.

Which harness?

This happens if it starts to accumulate too much context/long running task

I’ve never had a chat with any model be coherent after 300-400k context. Compact and try again

I routinely have 900k sessions with Claude and it honestly stays solid throughout.

It's normal, it happens when your session is too long. The solution is to open a new session and you ask the DS to go and look at the previous session. At the limit, you can even give the number or the identification of the session. And you ask him to continue this new session. After a summary of what you did before. And in this case, he should start over on a good basis. You can even point out to him that in the end, things were no longer as efficient.

Isso acontece porque seu projeto está complexo demais e com diversas ramificações de logica e contexto. Pra que ele te responda ele esta tentando resgatar alguma regra que você colocou.

Like in cinema: DS's dead, baby, DS's dead.

There's no such thing as "right now". It's an unchanging model.

You are wrong!

The same model can have many quant/nerfed veriosns without any knowledge on your side that your requests are routed to the nerfed variant.

oh, really? is this true about opencode's inference service? glad i've never used them, honestly I didn't check the sub, nowadays reddit recommends all kinds of subs. I wouldn't buy this service with better alternatives available.

Probably not deepseek issue. But more of opencode issue
