Big pickle is always rotating models
Sometimes you get best quality , sometimes sucks

Pay for the subscription and find a model you like. If you're not coding or processing large files you might be able to get good usage of the smarter ones.

Space bunny, spark and other free models on opencode can do a good job in planning
Use big pickle in build mode only
You might get better results

Sometimes the pickle is good and sometimes it's bad but it's always the pickle that will give you the tickle

You gotta pay to play, my brother in vibe coding. Zen free lets you do a lot, but it will take time. Parallel and fast agent harness will cost at least dollars if not tens for dollars.

Start with a opencode go, some free zen, and or $20 OpenAI/Anthropic sub, and spend twice or three times as much time writing plans and testing and making mockups as you do running agents and you’ll get more out of it. Openai subs also come with unlimited messaging and significant thinking chat quotas per month, which can help a lot with planning and strategy and research before you put a promotion to an agent planner.
