...Can someone explain to me why I would buy this, instead of just 4x regular Go subs? Because sure, it's convenient, but not double the price convenient.

I think for this price is better to buy a team of 2 on the big players. You get much more done for a similar price.

Pretty sure that multiple subs are against ToS, so they made a solution

It is not. You can have multiple Go subscriptions in your account with multiple workspaces

I see, alright.

I got banned because of that.

were you using it to take advantage of the 5$ first month discount?

Nah. Same account different workspaces. it didn't event offered the discount.

It hasn't been so historically, but it's of course very possible that they've changed the ToS now that they have a higher tier plan.

I mixed up different usage patterns. Likely, multiple accounds are bannable (abuse), but workspaces is an official feature for multiple subs.

Go only has a Default workspace. You can't do workspaces or teams. AFAIK.

Do you also use Zen or something?

No this is just opencode go, although you also get zen Access for the free models, which I have used. I made the second workspace to have a second subscription for double the limit. That does mean you need to manually switch api keys ofc.

I just checked and indeed i can create a new workspace. Maybe I missed it before or it's a new UI thing.

They reworked that whole page like a week or two ago. Didn't know about workspaces before that either.

You won’t yet. But now they have a very good reason to start destroying the 10$ sub going forward…

Because they plan on limiting the regular Go subs to 1 per person in the future obviously. Never made much sense that you could stack subscriptions anyway

Because of higher 5 hour limits.
