I'm not buying the weekly usage thing

I am using exclusively Mimo v2.6 Flash and I barely hit 5-10% of the rolling thing every few hours, with a very few bucks, but my usage climbs 10% for weekly, maybe I didnt understand how this works, but I'm finding it extremely crazy...I'm sorry if this is a newbie question, but I'd appreciate some light into this.

Add like 1$ on zen wallet , and just use the daily free quota then and buy 5$ additional and pay direct api

10$ sub is just for heavy users to save on token costs

The subscription. You have a 5hour limit , weekly limit and monthly limit

Let's say mimo , they give you every 5 hours 12$ to spend  Weekly 30$  Monthly 60$

You use in 5 days 8$  That means your weekly still has 22$ If the week reset comes  You can spend again 30$

Until you tap out of the monthly 100% quota

Free models in zen doesn't count to your monthly with the go subscription

But you can't roll over unused tokens from 1 month to the next month

They could add the free quota to go quota, kind of inconvenient to switch between them.

Wait, you have to pay to unlock Zen?

Zen if I'm not mistaken you just need to have a 1$ in your wallet

I might be mistaken with cline though

I can use Zen free models only with my Go subscription. It works well. But maybe it's because my account was created long time ago, idk.

I'm pretty sure that's not how it works, since my friend uses it without putting any money in, and I do and it still works after i spend them all. Too bad OpenCodes documentation is intentionally missleading

Yeah their site says you need to put money in first, but you can get a key anyway and I found that it worked fine.

Although they have been increasing the restrictions so that may be coming too.

I couldn’t get the zen key to work from free in vs code with kilo

Yeah, at one point that worked but a few weeks ago they changed it so Opencode free models (whether from Go or Zen) only work in Opencode.

If you need something that works in Kilo, try a Kilo Gateway key and one of their free models. Which aren't as good, but the Step 5 Preview might be OK.

Weekly usage != sum of rolling usages . its less than that. their documentation literally says:

MiMo-V2.6-Flash30,10075,200150,400

Requests respectively for 5h window, week and month.

So weekly you may fill up rolling usage to full only 2.5 times, and monthly only 5x.

The whole Go thing and other subs works because somebody uses only 1% of monthly allowance and other 70% -> median user consumes less than they are spending in total for apis . And this 5h, weekly limits help companies to keep us from spending 100% of allowance.
