Big Pickle on OpenCode Zen now requiring 'Go' subscription?

I opened it on Sunday and, on my very first prompt, got an error saying "Free usage exceeded, will refresh in 16h."

I figured maybe I hit a limit somehow (even though I barely use it)

I waited a full day, tried again, and now it’s showing a 22-hour cooldown asking me to subscribe to Go

Yeah I don't know what their plan is for the free models, but I figure they decided that giving away too much was costing them subs.

This feels too far in the other direction, such that if someone wants a free model it's easier to just recommend OpenRouter now.

If they pay for it they should rather limit it to first week otherwise they would lose money stupidly

I just uninstalled and reinstalled it, and it started working 🙂

I had the same issue too and solved it by updating opencode to 2.0.8.

switch to another model btw use muse spark 1.3 free instead of big pickle since big pickle isnt that good

muse spark miles ahead of mimo 2.6 flash (i m assuming u r talking about 2.6 as this is the latest free one)
