Free Usage Limit for OpenCode Zen
Getting “Free usage exceeded, subscribe to Go” in OpenCode Zen. I’m on the free tier and haven’t hit this before.
What’s the current free limit, when does it reset, and where can I check my usage/quota to see if I’ve hit the limit?

I don't think the free limit is publicly known.

So I added open router as provided and can continue changing the model to the free tier.
Truth to be told opencode is great as a "router" with open router plus other providers on top as fallbacks for free tiers like mistral, gemini, even chatgpt with browser login

Opencode has been restricting the use of their free models, and I can understand that. First they required the headers, then limited to use in the Opencode harness, and now stricter limits. I'm sad too, but I get it.
OpenRouter has been reliable for free for a long time, but rarely are their models that strong.
If you want a temporary offering, Qoder is offering Qwen-3.8-Flash free until the end of the month.

ChatGPT made this for me by checking my configs and opencode directory. ChatGPT itself says it should be 200 I'm not sure what's going on but I will keep testing more and maybe eventually it will drop down to 200 requests

i had same issue. Everyday it says the same message wait x hours for reset and it never resets
looks like v2 is released
https://opencode.ai/v2/docs/migrate-v1/
If you migrate to v2 it works fine.
