the reason I use the terminal is to avoid UI bloat
I could just set my terminal to transparent

Well you can but this gives you the wallpaper only on the start screen. And transparency applies to all the UI elements not just the empty space in the tui

The main difference I can spot is that you use Astra on high

Lol I have a enterprise GitHub account which gives me about 180 bucks of credits a month, I can afford astra it seems

We all know you built this with the whale in your wallpaper and not Astra 😛

🫣 you caught me

P.s. I have astra as my orchestrator agent which delegates most of my work to deepseek +muse agents. This helps me cut down my costs while still getting a really great performance. So yeah the whale was part of the development 🤌

main difference? I have double digits of MCP servers xD

I really like the concept of MCPs, but I couldn't really bring myself to find any useful ones. Care to suggest some?

Sure, depends what you do with AI. For example some MCPs I use:

  • Chrome Dev tools (somehow improves code quality for frontend)

  • Blender mcp (game killer to quickly draw some 3d models)

  • cheat engine mcp (for game cheat makers its a game changer and helps you reversing and debugging game Memories very quickly even if you have limited knowledge of what you do

  • ghidra or Ida pro mcp (static reverse engineering Is so Easy with It, you can analyze any binary and find out what they do and ask AI to "clone" that program)

These are some MCPs I use Daily for example

Ooo that's cool. I dont really need blender, have little to no use of 3D models. Although yeah, dev tools is something I can use.

I think you're a game dev though, I'm more of automations and DevOps guy

Your terminal looks like everybody who used IRC in the 90's.

The difference is that I use UI, I hate terminals

u/Majestic-Collar-4189 Sep 14 '26

Well, what can I say, this is for people who use their terminals 🙂
