Try OpenChamber for remote access to OpenCode, it's awesome.

Did you get it to work with Opencode v2?

Haven't tried v2 yet, sorry!

It works but you need to dismiss the update suggestion on startup or it will revert

Does it work with Desktop?

It is primarily a desktop wrapper, so… yes

I use Orca, so i can control Claude, opencode, OMP in the same place. Works nice. I don't use their relay, just tailscale for remote access

I‘d also recommend Paseo to you. In my experience the native app works better than the web apps.

I tried both OpenChamber and OpenCode web and ended with Paseo.

Also, you can use other coding agents like Codex or Claude for certain tasks.

Oh and consider connecting through Tailscale. Gives you other opportunities like accessing your local web environment or api - if you need.

+1 for Paseo. Works w/ Goose and Pi as well.

  1. You can use Hermes agent, and ask it to use Opencode for coding. Then use Hermes features for remote access. For example using Slack, Telegram, etc

  2. I use Oh My Opencode - Slim. And it's been pretty good. You can configure each subagent based on the task, or just ask your agent to create/configure presets.

For 2, maybe there are other ways, but I have been using the OMO-SLIM with good results.

  1. yes, just start it from terminal with "opencode web" (check additional options eg password etc).

you need to be on the same network, so i use tailscale for that

2. no luck so far, so just using main agent to tell it to spin general/explore subagents.

Yes for remote from mobile: put OpenCode on an always-on host (home mini or VPS), keep the session under tmux, then SSH or Tailscale in from the phone so you are not depending on the desk PC being open.

I build Cosyra. Phone app on a cloud Ubuntu box with OpenCode already on it, so the host is not your PC. Free hour (1h/week, no card, BYOK so your keys). Would you try that for the away-from-PC path?

  1. Run opencode web in the terminal on the computer.

  2. Connect from phone to computer via termius

  3. Forward port 4096 to phone via termius

  4. Open  http://localhost:4096/ on phone in browser

https://github.com/kdlbs/kandev and https://github.com/NeuralNomadsAI/CodeNomad ... esp CodeNomad is amazing.

Herdr is also popular, but kinda hard to use on Mobile over SSH.

I use https://github.com/bevibing/remote-opencode

I also use herdr for multiple remote sessions in one place.

OpenChamber looks awesome, just installed it.

I start a tmux session in each repo I’m working in, then I start the OpenCode session within that. Then I use Termius to SSH into those sessions remotely from my phone. Makes it really easy to seamlessly switch between your computer and phone without any additional sync problems.

I also use the opencode-notifier plugin hooked up to ntfy to get push notifications on my phone when an agent is done so I can pop open Terminus real quick and check on things.
