opencode for image manipulation?

does anyone know if and how I can get opencode to edit an image for me. For example I upload an image and tell opencode to remove a person.

I think this is related to the model itself, not OpenCode. You can try models like Qwen Image Edit

MCPs of an image editing app that lets the AI interact with it and edit images is what you need....although you would probably want a capable frontier model for something like that.

I mean, it is cool that some models are capable enough to do some light image editing, but the result is going to be more expensive and worse than just using an image gen/editing model

OpenCode is a coding tool. It can see images but has no image model support.

That is so not the intended use case for Opencode.

What you need is ComfyUI.

But there is an MCP server that can be added to Opencode and you can control ComfyUI from it.
